So Bored..What you guys do tonite? (rant..kinda)

I sat home all night.
Every one was either working, or didnt feel like doing anything. Gf is sick as a dog...so wasnt even able to spend much time with her....


I got another Tatt today...."Never Weaken" Across my upper back in Old English letters.

Stings like all hell right now.

Dont feel bad. The most exciting thing I did today was clean the snake cages. At least it was half way enjoyable because I got to handle them for a few minutes. I didnt go out or do anything. I went to school for almost 8 hours, then worked for 4, and then came home to do homework. No one invited me to anything, and no one wanted to do anything. On top of that, my boyfriend was home and well, but played Halo3 all night so I didnt even see him. He went to bed without even telling me while I was out on the computer.

So you're not the only one who's halloween was dull. :/ A tattoo is better than nothing! Tats rock.

Same here...just unwinding from work so I can get to sleep. Had a long day, and tomorrow will be another one. It was an okay night at the ER though...we only had to euthanize two dogs, and they were both ready to sleep...the rest of the stuff was relatively minor and easily treated, which is nice. We did get a bunch of calls on dogs who had eaten Halloween candy...Twix seems to be the vice of choice this year.

I fixed a nice dinner for Karl and I, then we watched Kid Nation. After that we watched 1/2 of a History Channel show on Jekyll and Hyde and whether Jekyll and Hyde actually represented Edinburough, Scotland (the two different areas which represented different classes) at the time the author wrote it. Then I went to 8ballchat and hung out for a bit. Nice evening overall.

This was my day yesterday....

Get up at 5:30 a.m. so I could grab a quiet hour to myself. Slug back coffee and pray to wake up before Mikey's feet hit the floor running and screaming "IT'S HALLOWEEN MOMMY ISN'T IT ISN'T IT ISN'T IT ISN'T IT ISN'T"

Try to remember to pack all the pieces of his costume for the school party AND the party treats and the bus passes and....WHERE IS MY COFFEE!

Race off to school barely making the city bus, dump off Mikey at class (gawd the poor teacher! all the kids were soooo hyper), go find the volunteer PTO lady because of course I stupidly said "well yes I'd love to help out with the halloween pizza party!" (she caught me when I was low on coffee I swear it!)

Spend the next 2 hours helping deal with crying children and crazed teachers because "Suzie did bring in her pizza slip and money and it MUST be here somewhere!" Dive and sit on PTO person when the principal shows up 1 hour before pizza time with a whole basket of slips/money that he "forgot about" and she had to run order 10 more large pizza's! *make more coffee*

Line up and toss pizza at herds of hyped up kids. Pray none of them puke (one did!)

Clean up, race to Mikey's room and help stuff 18 hyped up kids with bellies full of pizza in their costumes. Pray that none of them puke on me (none did...praise God!). Wave madly and clap while quickly stealing back any weapons they brought with them (even though parents were told no play weapons for the party....grrrrrr). While they go on the costume parade help other crazed mothers fill 18 party bags. Discuss with other mothers why our butts will grow if we eat any more of this damned candy!

Help run the party games, stuff my own child back on the bus, race for home clutching the spare pizza I bought at the pizza party because I AM NOT COOKING TONIGHT! Get home, slap down pizza at anyone that looks even remotely hungry (pray Mikey doesn't puke from too much pizza and candy). Stuff Mikey back into his costume yet again and haul it out for the annual "gimme candy" evening festivities.

At some point, give my husband SUCH A LOOK because he had the nerve to ask me why I was "crabby".

I am that teacher and have been that mom. However, the day after halloween and all that candy for breakfast....watch out
