    Eco-Earth Ingestion

Daisy is liking the whole F/T rat thing but she rolled her rat around the tank quite a bit tonight before eating it. It got seasoned with Eco-Earth pretty good.

What are the health implications (if any) of ingesting this substrate? If I had to estimate, I'd say it was about a tablespoon of the stuff in total.

    TIA,
    Tony

I use Eco-Earth and the reason I like it is because it's digestable so no risk of impaction.

    Re: Eco-Earth Ingestion

Mine hasn't yet (maybe a very small amount) however it's natural coconut fibers. It also naturally absorbs waste and keeps odor's down(don't stop cleaning though)

Edit: My bad; it isn't risk free for impaction however it is very unlikely.
