Interesting U-Tube video
Maybe everybody has seen this but...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usc3CPaakV4&NR=1
I had to admit I was impressed and couldn't suppress a small cheer for the python. At first I was ready to get offended because I figure it must have been staged but I guess not. I would not have guessed stuff like this actually happens!
Did the python just luck out and not get bit or would he have some sort of resistance?

Um....I assume the cobra's venom did the trick...seeing as the cobra ate the reticulated python. So I guess no he didn't have a resistance, yes he did get bitten.

Looks like a king cobra...which is a snake predator, and most snakes don't have resistance to other venoms, however I do think they are resistant to their own? Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Man, I'm feeling a bit stupid right now.
However, I suppose this sets things right since I originally figured the cobra would win. I didn't really watch the end and it looked like the python was getting him. I guess the cobra just had to wait for the venom to take effect.
One thing that puzzled me about this video was that I though pythons only attempted to constrict when they were trying to eat. Were they trying to eat each other or was the python defending himself?

Krazy99CL:
From researching Indigos I'm guessing F/T rattlers.
Man that badger has some guts - and some speed! Although, I was also mightily impressed at how quickly that cobra could move while in the strike position.
