GREAT lookin' kids, Meme!! Sara's date looks a little shell-shocked. Like he can't believe he gets to take this beauty to homecoming!

Homecoming is a tradition centered around high school (and college) alumni "coming home." There are usually numerous class-reunions that weekend, as well as a great reason for the whole town to throw a party. There's usually a parade...the homecoming football game is full of extra festivities...and there's a formal dance at the school.

You know...Judy that was pretty much how it was.

They went as friends...see...Sara had a date a long time ago and so 2 weeks before homecoming the guy dropped her. She had other guys ask her to go but ths guy was a good friend and she didn't want a bunch of drama so they went as dates.

He is a really sweet kid and very well mannered. He also has a stutter and is very shy when he talks to me. He told Sara that I make him nervous and it makes him stutter alot more. lol...it is sooo cute!


btw...it took me a while to get this multi quote thing...but i got it! kinda cool stuff!

I took Sara to try on homecoming dresses a few weeks ago and the lady asked me if I would also be trying them on. I was like... "No ma'am...I am her Mother."

Sara is a beautiful girl! And Kyle looks very handsome! Are you sure you're old enough to have children that age?

You know, of course it took a wile for Sara to get ready right..Kyle was ready 5 hours ahead of time cause he was so nervous and just wanted to be ready! We kept betting him he was going to get juice or something on his shirt. lol!

I knew you would like her dress. but when she was at her friends house and they were walking through the yard to take pics she would pick up the bottom of the dress and hold it in her hand...it got all wrinkled at the bottom...lol.

Man....my first homecoming (1999) I was a freshman and got asked by a junior. I thought I was so cool because I got asked to homecoming by an upper-classman. I was bragging to all my best buds that I was going and they werent. ...it ended up being the worst night. Starting at Dinner my dad laughed aloud with a mouth full of food that ended up in my lap...and then she started to break out in hives from something she ate and so she was itching and miserable all nite....haha...oooooo memories.
