Like, would a reduced normal female bred to a spider male, produce babies with less spotting than a more normally patterned female? Just shooting this out there.. The simple answer is that the Normal parent definitely affects the pattern on the offspring. I have produced 22 Spiders to date, and I have noticed that reduced, bright normals produce the brightest, cleanest Spiders. Just my opinion, as others may differ.
