Cause when push comes to shove you taste what you're made of
You might bend, till you break cause its all you can take
On your knees you look up decide you've had enough
You get mad you get strong wipe your hands shake it off

Well with any of mine. As long as they kill it they should be able to get it down. Ive seen some of mine take the mouse or rat the wrong way lots of times. It will figure it out sooner or later.

I wouldn't do anything. She will either get it down or figure out that she is going about it the wrong way. If she is a young one, she is still learning. It's possible she will get fed up and leave it alone too. In that case, try again in a couple days. Nothing to worry about.

Re: I need Help!!!!!
I've had one snake that actually got the rat stuck in his mouth, so I would monitor that the prey item has been completely consumed. Usually they do not have those problems, but it's something to watch for. I'm glad that the problem resolved itself.

Re: I need Help!!!!!
As long as shes taking it head first or tail first she should be ok. If she tries to get it down sideways you might have to try and get it away from her. If you want her to start taking it from the head. Dangle the mouse or rat just over her so she can reach it by the tail. So she can strike at its head. Some kind of long tweezers would be good if your worried about her getting your hand. Cause she might. Once she figures out that it goes down better head first she should take it. Was it F/T? If so she will go for the warmest part of the mouse. My corns use to do that alot with there F/T. For some reason the back side was a bit warmer. Hope that help some.
