So curious, what does "pied" stand for? is it short for a longer name? So far i just thought of like a lemon "pie"! haha the white is lemon and the brown is the delicious crust!

The actual term is Piebald ...which means "having patches of black and white, or other colors...parti-colored."

Lotsa animals can be piebald:
Deer
Squirrel
Dog
Horse
But my favorite is ball python!!!
0.1 ball python (Cleo), 0.1 surinam bcc (Carmen)
1.0 sunglow motley corn (Jenson), 1.0 albino burmese (Lourdes)
1.0 cat (Nicky), some mooses and ratters, 1.0 hubby (Rick)

I love both lows and highs.
They both have some really awesome qualities to them.

Here's our low white pied. He came from Pete Kahl earlier this year. Hopefully, he's gonna make lots of pied babies this season!!!

Heather I agree with you 100%. Low white pieds have the most amazing patterns and markings and the high white have the strong contrast of pattern and white, I'll take one of each and be a very happy boy!
