    undiscovered morph? we'll see...

some of you may have seen the thread earlier about this guy, but I'm picking him up on thursday and wanted to post some pics.. Tell me what you think!

Info: This was from a CB clutch of two eggs, genetics are unknown and as yet unproven. This male is an '04, 1100g, from a local breeder downsizing due to a new baby. He's never been bred... I'm REALLY hoping he proves out...

I had to beg, borrow, and steal to get the coin together, but I really think he's worth it... Even if he just proves to be an aberrant normal, which I realize I won't know for as long as 3-4 years, he's still a looker...

a question for you guys... if this proves out, what would you call it? I may end up having a poll to democratically elect a name for a new morph, which I think would be a first...

    Smudge Ball...

Oh and if it does prove genetic. I got dibs on the first visual male you produce.

I did a little bit of research on this... Based on the Woma pics I was able to find, it's similar but not the same. It's more reduced, and the pattern isn't as "attached" down the back.. Granted, this could be a natural aberration of the woma, or normal, or anything else... I just want to believe it's something different.
