well I waited too long too go to the doctor to begin with...then when I went to go to bed one night I could hardly move..so I decided I better go to the hospital.
They gave me Tussionex and an antibiotic...the tussionex helped the cough but they thought I had only pulled a muscle and sent me on my way...a week later I was still in MAJOR pain so I went to my doc and she sent me out for a rib series...and later that day they called me and said I had 2 broke ribs.
The problem I had was convincing the doc that I really had a problem and I wasn't just looking to get a few pain pills. That and they seem to think I got hit...in the ribs causing them to break.
Like I am gonna let somebody get a rib shot in on me??? pshhhh...not!
