feeding
ok i want to know is there a specific rule of thumb for prey size and number thereof mine is sort of one mouse to every foot of the snakes length so mine gets two mice every 9 days is that too much or does it matter
also my second snake a smaller bp has been eating well but this week he would not eat so i waited and tried again the next day after two days he finally ate is there any reason they might wait like that

Re: feeding
A rule of thumb with bp's/prey size, would be.... the prey item should be about the same size around as the girth of the biggest part of the snake.... I hope that makes sense. Once every seven days.

Re: feeding
Only one of that size. If they are half that size, then 2.

Re: feeding
I've also heard that the prey should be 1/10 the BPs weight.
