    My realization of the day...

Moving to a new house is expensive! I somehow managed to spend $3700 in the last 2 days on furniture. I rented a house (my first house) and am in the process of packing and moving. Moving is up there as one of my least favorite things ever. But it'll be nice to have a place with no loud neighbors and to not have to time my coming home on when there are parking spots available. Here are some pics of the new place (2 bedroom/2 bath with a full basement and a lot of space for my home office):

Congrats on the new house, moving can be so exhausting, I can't blame you for not liking it, but once you settle, I am sure you will be happy that you made the move.

I'm STILL buying things for our new house, and it's some 3 months after the move. You have my utmost sympathy, Jamie. Now's the time to wrangle up those friends to help get everything moved. (more specifically those local ones )
