    shedding

When i take my ball python out now i have been noticing that his scales are ruff. Does this mean he is about to shed? They also have a kinda weird texture now.

    Re: shedding

Not sure really, I wouldnt think so...
Usually they turn a little whiteish when they are in shed.

    What is your humidity at???
Maybe he/she is dry?? Humidity I would say should be 40-50% and during shed upto 70% but not higher I dont think!
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?

    Re: shedding

Mine just shed for the first time last night(first time since i have had her). She looked all wrinkly and it almost felt like the scales were gunna fall off... i put her back in the tank. 2 hours later i look in and there is lots of shed all over the place and hangin off of her
