You need more hides.. and do you have a uth?
Make sure to have at least 2 hides.. one on the cool side and warm side.. and the moss... put it in a 3rd hide... other than that.. cute!!

Looks like a great setup. Your moss is going to dry out really fast though and probably get spread out around the whole cage. For a humid hide box I like to put the moss inside a plastic container that has a hole in the top big enough for the snake to crawl in and out. Other then that though it looks really nice.

nice setup but I see something that needs to be changed ... you have a stick on thermometer on the back wall. You should replace that with a digital thermometer like the Accu-rite from walmart.. run you around 12.00 but worth the piece of mind of knowing exactly where your temps are sitting. cute snake too.

Yeah I already have a digital one. I got it yesterday, I took this pic a few days ago. That tank was originally for my leopard gecko so I wasn't too worried about temp, he was pretty lenient about it.

    Re: My new BP

I think you'll find that Ball Pythons are pretty lenient too. I think that a lot of people 'overthink' their care. With pets, I believe that there comes a point where 'going the extra mile' is more for the peace of mind of the care giver then for the well being of the care receiver.
