It varies from snake to snake. I have one snow corn and she is normally very calm. She doesn't mind handling and loves to explore. She will only get aggressive if you smell like dinner. I've also heard of corns that are aggressive and nippy no matter what but those were mostly rescues or snakes that were not handled.

That is another thing. Corn snakes normally calm down after some handling. I once didn't handle Zim for two weeks and when I went to stick my hand in the cage, she went for it. Luckily she missed, but still.

In my opinion, corn snakes rock!
