    oh that's great!

he's a sassy little thing. it reminds me of a dane cook joke about the woman getting hit in the face with a tire "There can only be one Highlander! Tires cannot defeat me!"

What type of rat snake is that, with the bit of orange tinge and dark bloches it reminds me of our Texas Rat Snakes, (same attitude for sure). But I see you are in South Africa, so tell us what you have there,

I was going to say it was a Texas rat as well until I saw his location. Very curious as to what it is.

    Re: Rat Snake Attack

I had a rat snake once that was pure evil. He had been tormented in his tank and would strike at the tank anytime I walked by. He was feisty! But I never found out what kind of rat he was. He was kind of an orangy-brown color with 2 black stripes going down his back. Does anyone know what kind that would be. Ive googled images of rats but cant seem to find one that looks like mine. I dont have him anymore but Im just curious.....

Could be a Everglades Rat Snake

If not can you tell us where you got it? If it was wild caught and we know where it came from that might nail it down pretty easily,

This one has more prominant black lines, they are highly variable in pattern,
