    Multivitamin

Ok so I am still trying to figure out this whole multivitamin deal. Im sure this question has been answered many many times but its just so gosh darn confusing lol. I probably wont really figure it out until I get the gecko and do it myself but I just want to be fully prepared before that time comes. What should the multivitamin contain? I know it must have vitamin D3 but is that really the only vitamin needed or are there others. Im looking at Rep-Cal calcium with vitamins but it looks like the only vitamin it has is vitamin D3. Can I use that and provide a dish of pure calcium at all times? Would that be enough as far as the multivitamins go?

i tend to buy a bottle of one than use when that is gone i buy one of the others as variety is alloways good. keep in mind i go through a bottle in about 2 weeks as i have a lot of lizzards. but that is my advice. to use a couple different brands that claim to have different stuff

    Re: Multivitamin

    You are going to want

Pure Calcium Carbonate- I use T REX Bone Aid powder

For a multivitamin I use either

    TREX Leopard gecko dust,
    Or Reptivite Multivitamin with D3

I use those once a week for babies/juvies and twice a month for Adults.

Its always easier to buy a multivitamin that has D3 in it, than buying 3 different bottles.

    EDIT: Either of these

For my geckos, I use RepCal with D3 and Herptivite. For the Leopard Gecko's plain calcium, I just use plain calcium pills from the pharmacy and crush them up. Works just fine and isn't expensive like reptile vitamins are.
