First of all Breath!!! Balls are really hardy animals. Second if Wednesday is when you can take it to the vet it should be fine. As for meds..It depends on the parasite that your animal has. If you have more than one animal start quarantine procedures ASAP. if you only have the one then your fine. Treatment is an oral wormer given via tube. Some can require more than one round or worming so be prepared for that if it is needed.
