Is the red boy a Rhode Island Red? I had a Rhode Island Red as a pet when I was a kid--we adopted him from one of our neighbors (who had a lot of chickens/roosters) as an older rooster. We had a few hens that were grown, but he was our first rooster. He was SUPER laid back.

One of my favorite pictures of Tom-Tom (the Rooster's name) was of him and our Mini Schnauzer sitting in front of the sliding glass door, looking into the house. They were just hangin' out together. Tom-Tom would let us carry him around...he was just so chill. He died after a few years with us.
