Is Her Housing OK?
Hey gang, I have a small adult california kingsnake currently living in a 20 gallon tank. I understand that this is plenty of space for her, but would a 40 gallon tank be too big for her? I have one lying around the house collecting dust and I was wondering if it was OK to put her in that big of a tank. Of course I would provide her with multiple shelters, places to hide, fake hiding leaves, so she can feel secure as possible, but would the size of the tank still be overwhelming to her?
Thanks BP.net

Adult kings are far less shy (and more active) than ball pythons. A 40 gallon tank would be lovely for her.

Fantastic I just moved her into the 40 gallon. PLENTY of hides, branches, burrow areas, the works.
She was exploring her new home quite a bit and I think she likes it rather than being stressed out. Thanks for your help
