    Live Rats in NYC?

    I would like to switch Daisy from live mice (she's eating two every week) to live rats, maybe even F/T eventually.

    Does anyone know where I can find live weaned rats in or close to NYC?

    I think small rats may still be a bit too big...

    If she's doing fine with the mice, and you can find them easily, then why not just stick with those? She'll be fine on 2-3 mice a week for the rest of her life.

    I saw your post title and thought that you wanted to use NYC rats as food! I know that the rats in Buffalo alone are big enough to carry off a small child.. lol!
    In all seriousness.. if you can't find rats.. there are people that feed mice for their snake's entire life just fine.

    They must have a pet store somewhere close by in NY??
    You could order them off the net as well in bulk!?!

    We buy them at the show in White Plains every 2 months or so.
