dry spot

my BP has developed a tiny white spot, about the size of a period (.) on her head right between her eyes. it looks like a dry scale flaked off and left this crater-like spot. I checked her body and there aren't any more, however there is VERY faint shade of pink on her belly, so could this be early signs of scale rot? ne help appreciated, thnx

It should go away with the next shed. Just make sure your temps/humidity are up to par.

Is your substrate wet and soggy, or dry? I had one snake that shed, and one of the "new" scales came off with the shed and it left a white spot. You could see the scale attached to the shed skin; it was a head scale like yours. In a few sheds, the snake looked normal again.
A pink tinge to the belly probably just means that a shed is coming. But if you have an overmoist substrate, that might mean scale rot.
