    Problems shedding the head...

    Im keeping a friends Blood cause he is working out of town the rest of the month... and she shed sunday night.... with a little help from me... but she doesnt rub the nose part to get it shedding.. she just like rips her midsection and works that down and so on till she gets it off... but like the last shed she had the head skin was stuck on her... and this shed i got that off but now this newer stuff is stuck...
    any ideas why she cant get it off?
    i got like 2 eye caps off one eye and one of the other and she can see now... but i just dont wana make her mad by trying to get her 'hat' off...

    What was the humidity during the shed?

    I'd just put her in a pillowcase that's been wet and wrung out. Then placed in the enclosure over the warm end. Let sit for an hour or so. Usually enough to get them to get the shed off.

    They try to find ways out and end up rubbing it off.

    Also double check to make sure you and your friend are keeping the water clean.

    her waters clean... gets changed every day with me.

    but i soaked her the day of her shed... but the past atlest 2 are bad on her head...

    Hmmm. Not sure. Is the water dish big enough to soak in?

    What's the normal humidity? Humidity during shed?
