babies not eating
ok, well the babies are all a little more then a month old now and still cant get 5 of them to eat
i have tried live, F/T, putting them in a bag... notta!
will they eat when darn good and ready or is it time to help them out by pryin their little mouths open and putting it in there?
Mind you the thought of doing that scares the hell out of me with them being so little, but i know i gotta do it if it needs done.
the one that was eating has stopped now, it does the whole let me be the big bad snake and strikes (live or f/t) coil.... then its like it gets this look to it of ohhh look a butterfly and just slithers off ???

Re: babies not eating
Hi,
Are you standing watching them when this is going on? Maybe he doesn't feel secure enough to eat?
Since a live pink rat isnt a threat it would be ok to leave one in overnight I think if you havent tried that already.

I agree leave a rat pup or a mouse hopper overnight. If that don't get it done in the next few weeks it's assist feeding time time. Not a bid deal don't worry.
