    Hi,

Here are some vet finding lists to start you off - also asking at exotic petshops and zoo's can get good recomendations if you don't find anyone local on these lists.

    Re: Big Big Problem

Find a vet, call the vet's office and explain the situation. Some vets will allow you to do partial payments, some won't but it's worth asking. The snake needs to see a vet as soon as possible.

    Good luck to you!!

Can I ask what your temperatures have been like in his environment?

    Hot side?
    Cool side?
    Humidity?
    Ambient?

    Re: Big Big Problem

    Sounds allright.

I keep my room at about 80 degrees.

So my hot side is 88 to 90
    Cool side 78 to 80
And ambients INSIDE the tub at the same 78 to 80.
    Humidity at 65 steadily.

Doesn't sound like yours are too much different. Maybe a little on the cold side on the cool end of your tub. I know they're real needy on having the enclosure spot on as far as humidity and temps go.

Again good luck to you!! Hopefully the vet can work something out with you as far as payments go. Hopefully the meds prescribed aren't too expensive.

    Re: Big Big Problem

I don't know if the same holds true for bloods, perhaps Kara can chime in, but with ball pythons, it's better to RAISE the humidity to help break up and loosen the mucus.
