Re: My Mexican Red Knee
It's kind of difficult to tell from the picture, but it looks like that abdomen is in prime "I'm going to molt any day now" shape.
Might just be the glare of the flash though.
Either way, good lookin' spidey.

Re: My Mexican Red Knee
The colors are really dull and there was no flash on the camera lol so I'm pretty sure its going to molt any day now.

Re: My Mexican Red Knee
So the shiny black spot on the abdomen is actually black then?

It's bald but yea. I just noticed the bald spot last night after taking the pic...looks like it kicked hairs or something but not sure.

Re: My Mexican Red Knee
The T just molted tonight so it was getting ready for a molt. I fed it a cricket tonight and noticed it didn't eat then went back to check like 10 minutes ago and sure enough there was the molt and a much bigger girl.

Re: My Mexican Red Knee
Cool,
Holefully once the fangs harden and she's all ready after her yoga she will eat you out of house and home.
I take it you took the cricket back out? My girl is now back to sitting in the normal pose so I'm going to try feeding her tomorrow or saturday.
