Blood pythons?
Anyone out there own bloods? I've always admired they're looks. Yes, I am aware they're not the nicest snakes around but I'm not afraid of getting bitten. What is some advice to bloods? Do you blood keepers enjoy them?

Re: Blood pythons?
I recently acquired one in a trade(she's a sumatran short tailed, not a blood) and she's incredibly mellow. Huffs a bit when in a snake bag, but other than that, she's a doll. I've only had her a week, but she just makes me want another one
It all depends on the snake's individual personality, but if they are CBB stock from mellow parents, you shouldn't have problems.

Re: Blood pythons?
The only reason why they have a bad reputation is bc from wc ones. Both my ball and stp try to bite me, but only my bp have ever actually got me out of no where.
They're fun to work with when they try to bite. Keeps you on your toes.

Re: Blood pythons?
Check out EBV's stock, Auburn Reptile Company, and LLLreptiles at the show. Nice sumatrans and bloods

Re: Blood pythons?
Checked around no black stps. LLLreptiles has a nice borneo. still there when I left before closing. They're pretty small. Auburn reptile has some yearlings and a sub adult sumatrans....and reptile depot had a nice one too...
Well good luck

lol yeah I think it was LLL reptiles that I saw the ones at, they were only 59.00 which is in my price range for non-ball python snakes XD I'll most likely be getting one tomorrow
