Re: snake eat hippo.. not kidding
That's not a hippo. I believe it's an anaconda and a large rodent (possibly a Tapir).

Re: snake eat hippo.. not kidding
Size varies between species, but most tapirs are about 2 meters (7 ft) long, stand about a meter (3 ft) high at the shoulder, and weigh between 150 and 300 kg (330 to 700 lb)... Okay now am not sure if am more amazed giant things aren't they....

Re: snake eat hippo.. not kidding
The prey item is not that big. (I'm still not positive what it is) Most likely it's a juvenile rodent. The snake was being held by the tail by a person, and wasn't that much bigger round than it's arm. If it was THAT large of a snake it would have taken several people to move it.

I think you are correct. I have seen this video before. I spent a long time trying to determine the language. I believe the are speaking Portuguese. Which is a largely spoken language in South America, where hippos aren't usually found.... I do think it is a tapir though if you compare the feet with an actual google image of a tapir.
