When To Take Baby Mice Out
How old should my baby mice be when they are to be taken out of the pregnancy tank?
I think they were born on 9/13/07 give or take a day
And there eyes opened two days ago
1 Normal ball python
8 mice And at least seven 1 day old mice.
3 hedgehogs
2 rats one tan and one black hooded female
2 dogs
&& 2 cats
And the lovely boyfriend

probably once they are up and running around on their own. if you touch them while the mother is still caring for them, it'll take their "baby scent" away and the mother will stop caring for them as the babies wouldnt "smell like her babies".

Is there a reason you need to take them out? Where are you going to be putting them if you take them out?
They are weanable at about 3 weeks of age (meaning they can live without their mother)

I'm going to be taking them out because I have another pregnant mouse that will be needing to be in the pregnancy tub in two weeks
They will going into male and female tanks, then fed off males first females second and then some will be hold backs

Got it...then at 21 days + you can seperate them from their mother. Though this is the medical day they can be weaned I always like to see them able to hold a piece of food first (but that is usually right around the same time...unless a baby is the runt and really behind in development)
