As a general rule, yes female BP's grow significantly larger than male BP's. The reason that this is 'general' is because genetics of some females will only allow them to grow so much, and the same principle can apply to males. I've heard of males reaching well over the 2,000 gram mark, as well as being close to 5 ft long. On the other hand, I've heard of females that struggle to reach the 2,000 gram mark, and are a little over 4 ft.
So, typically females are around 5 ft in length, and around the 2,300 gram range after a few years (depends on if the female has been bred or not), while males grow to be in the 4 ft length, and once again around the 2,000 gram or below (depending on breeding season as well).
