    scar question

i think this ties in a little bit with that post about the dull spots on the snakes head.. mine has a little bit of that going on but he also has a large scar on his head from before i got him.
i never had any problems with it but after his last shed the scar looks a little dry.
is there something i should do about this? raise humidity maybe?

also, he got bit by a rat a couple weeks ago.. i put neosporin on it until he shed his skin and now this is what it looks like.. it looks like some skin is stuck to him but i don't want to touch it until i know what to do about it

other than those spots i think his health is good, i just like to get a second opinion!

    Hi,

It looks like the old skin has stuck a little in those spots - I wouldn't worry about it though.

I would just make extra sure the humidity was high enough for his next shed and hopefully it should all come off ok. I never like to try too hard to remove retained shed over wounds and places with thin skin like scars just in case I end up opening them up again.

In the first pic, the scar looks like a lightning bolt. You should call him Harry Potter. hehe

The scar on his head looks like scar tissue to me rather than dry skin/rub but the rat bite still looks a bit scabby - I imagine it will shed off next tiem he goes. He looks like a fat healthy boy otherwise - I second that you name him Harry.
