Maybe I have odd snakes... I'll preface this whole question with that first statement. My female must be especially odd.
My male BP has not been eating... different post on that so I wont go into it here, BUT I was told that his tank my not be a good thing because it is too big and bins are better. I just have to point out that for my snakes they LOVE to climb. They are forever hiding in their little "bushes" that are in their tanks. Especially the female (Pandora). She will completely blend into her tree and stay there for hours. A couple times I have actually had my nose a couple inches from the glass trying to find her because I couldn't see her inside her hide and then BAM all of a sudden my eyes finally focus on a her head RIGHT there in front of my nose and she had been there all along. They both do this a lot but especially Pandora. Is this typical behavior? And if you do have snakes who hang out in the trees is it really a better solution to have them in a rack system? I ask this because right now we have three tanks for the two of them and yes, it is extensive work to keep them heated and humidified correctly (I'm in N. California so both of those factors change wildly throughout the year) and I am going to eventually want more snakes. I love them as a species and I'm just not sure if a tub or rack system would suit their "personalities" if you want to call it that.
