First of all, hello everyone. I'm new to the forum. I've owned a male bp before for about 5 years, sadly I was forced to give him a new home when I had to move overseas.
Anyways, I have a cb07 female bp now. Tuesday, directly after she had her meal down she displayed all the signs of an RI. Wheezing, face rubbing, angled head and gaping mouth. The symptoms only lasted until she got comfortable in her hide...maybe 5 minutes.
2 Days later and she hasn't wheezed, popped, had any excess mucus or displayed any other signs. She's very active and alert.
I was able to do a pretty good search of the forum last night and wasn't able to find any occurrences of the same signs "directly after feeding" from any other members.
Temps and humidity are all at perfect settings. 55-60% humidity - 78-79* on one side and 88-90ish* on the other side.
I've never encountered an RI an just wanted to make sure I was only being excessively cautious...maybe some extra saliva had caused the problem during the feed?
Thanks for reading!
