    Plants.

Can you put a live plant in your BP's tank? If so, Are there certain types to avoid? Will a BP eat a plant? I was thinking of a plant to possibly help with keepin the humidity up. thoughts, ideas, answers?

    Re: Plants.

I would advise against putting live plants with any herp but frogs and newts...and even then you have to be careful. Most snakes and lizards will squash them totally within days...if they don't chew them up first in the case of lizards. No, the best thing to do if you want foliage in your setup is to get the fake silk/fabric plants and vines from places like WalMart and Hobby Lobby. If you get plastic, make sure there's no heavy plasticy scent and that they aren't spiky or sharp.
