Hurray!!
My BP hasn't eaten for 3 weeks since we moved to my new place, and this morning he finally ate! I'm very pleased. I thawed the mouse for him at night after his lights went off and left it in the usual spot. Ever since I moved he does this thing where he sits on top of his hide log above the mouse and stares at it for a long time without moving. Well, I was worried it'd be another refusal, but I figured I would take a chance and leave it for him overnight. He still hadn't eaten when I woke up, and I was disappointed. Right before I left for class I went in to remove the mouse, and VOILA! He had the mouse's bottom half in his mouth!!
Now, I usually don't leave a f/t mouse overnight, because I'm paranoid about bacteria, etc. Is this an ok thing to do? Especially if he is taking all night to stare it down and makes sure that the mouse is indeed his food
Also, he is about 20", and a few months old. Is one f/t fuzzy mouse per week an ok feeding schedule?

Re: Hurray!!
Mine was about 120g or about 24 or so inches long and I was feeding him 2 fuzzies per week. I just recently upgraded to small adults because of price(fuzzy and an adult are the same price.....go figure). One trick my BP likes is to warm it up first with a blow dryer.
