    Re: growth rate.

they grow faster than a Ball for sure. They can vary and also depends on how regualr you get them feeding but in my experience once you get them eating they tend to stay that way providing you keep them healthy and the husbandry requirements are met consistently.

Expect your Blood to easily double its size in its 1st year, they maintain a healthy growth rate then start to fatten out.

But please dont get impatient and try to feed more food and more often, like balls they do well on a 5 to 7 day feeding cycle and fully grown only need fed every 14 days or so on a Large Rat to do well.

dont worry about that im a firm believer in a healthy diet for my animals no power feeding here i dont want to hurt my animal just so it gets bigger faster. I cant stand people who think that way its just wrong and IMO they shouldnt own an animal. But thanks its really hard to find little tidbits of info like that on the net well i guess they arent as popular as balls. not saying i dont like bp's i love both of mine. thanks again.

your welcome and its good to hear you have the attitude you do. This is a great place for information and there is alot of experience on this forum, not as much with Bloods as Balls obviously but the information you will find on here is 1st class for either species. All you need do is ask.

Also Kara on here has a website that is specific to Bloods www.bloodpythons.com you wont find a better site for Bloods and its well worth checking out. I hope I am able to say that on this site

Also feel free to PM me on anything your not sure of and want a quick answer on.
