    Ooooooh that SMELL!

I'm in the process of trying to convert Oreo to f/t mice. I fed him a live hopper yesterday and then thought I'd try a f/t one while he was excited. He didn't take it so I heard someone mention that sometimes it's a good idea to leave it over night.

Well, I forgot to take it out of the cage this morning, and when I got home from work..... well, you know; an overwhelmingly bad smell permeated the house.

Airing things out now but it was pretty bad there for a while.

Make sure you also sanitize the cage...remember the smell is caused by bacteria(very nasty ones) breaking down the rat...not something you want left in the cage for your snake to crawl through and then get onto you.
