    shedding problem

My BP has a bunch of spots where there is 2 or 3 scales that havn't been shedded yet. They've been there for at least 2 months and he's shedded once since I noticed them. I've tried soaking him and they wont come off. How can I get them off?

could you take pictures of the spots?

How long are you soaking him for, and what are you doing to try to remove them after?

    Re: shedding problem

You can get a damp pillowcase or wash cloth and have your BP work it's way through there. If it's just a few indiviual scales, they will most likely come off with your BP's next shed. When you notice your BP going into blue, just up the humidity to around 60-65% and you should be fine

I'll try to get a picture. I soaked him for 30- 45 minutes and then rubbed my finger over the spots.

    Re: shedding problem

Ah, my female BP had those for a little while, but they went away after I upped the humidity a bit and a few sheds.
