if i had money to buy two morphs for breeding purposes what would you suggest buying?
I know I'm going to sound like a broken record...but I have to say it. You should buy whatever YOU like. If you want to get into combos, figure out what really excites you and is likely to keep you excited over the years and years it may take to bring such a project about.
There is SO much involved in successfully combining morphs, it should be a project that you don't HAVE to ask someone else's opinion about. Know what you want....know what it takes to create that (which morphs)...and then figure out how exactly you plan on going about obtaining those morphs and keeping them and their offspring for years to come.
If you don't know what to get then you haven't done enough research!
With that out of the way I think female pastels are a great foundation for great combos.
As far as what else think what you want to take care(clean poop, feed, vet bills etc..) of for the next 20+ years. You are young take your time and do your homework so you will always be happy with your decisions. I buy what I like not what anyone else thinks or likes.
i was thinking of bumblebees which are pastelXspider ?
i guess what i was asking was what would you do as i dont really know of many combos or how to make them
Yes, bumble bees are pastels x spiders.
Whole books have been written on the subject of morphs and their combos. Any of us could list a couple of examples, but we couldn't begin to touch on them all. This is where YOU need to dig in and research and learn. There are many great websites that have excellent genetic and morph info on them. There's lots of threads here that discuss any numbers of combinations...many of them achieved with pictures to show...some as yet still dreamed of.
The only way to really learn this stuff is to just dig in and read read read.
ok thank you for the advice and have you got any websites that are good for different combos and have you got a link to a page that explains the gene system co dom reces ETC? thank you im just dreaming for later on when i got a job and a house/flat of my own so i go plenty of research time

I agree 100% and you will have a great time learning them too. I would recomend The Barkers' book "Ball python's of the World Volume 2" or Kevin McCurley's book "The Complete Ball Python". They will knock your socks off and give you great combo ideas and lots of great pics
Do you breed a mojave with a bumblebee to make a killerbee
and do you think going down the bee route would be a good way to go and also can you make an albino bumble or kiler?
