mice back in my life again; oh joy.

Long story short; mice are again in my house. :/ I am using them to get my hatchling BPs feeding. My rats just are not breeding fast enough for me to have a steady supply of rat babies; while one of my local stores always has mouse moms in with hopper sized babies. I just buy the mom with babies, feed them off, and I plan on feeding the moms off too because I don't want to breed them myself if I don't have to. I much prefer the low odor-ness of rats, hehe.

Jen, I started this thread a while back looking to get some feedback on this stuff...Cell Sorb Plus. Greg Graziani uses it for all of his snakes, but I think it would be great for rats and mice. give it a try...maybe it will make a difference in the ever so lovely smell

Well if you aren't breeding and don't have any adult males then the smell shouldn't be TOO bad.

I know of a place that I can buy that! I never did because it is pretty pricy but if it gets too bad.. hopefully the mice won't be in our life for long; the preggo rats will eventually birth, and I want to get the hatchlings on rats or mice so that my buyers will be able to do what is easier for them..
I actually have noticed no bad smell from the one rat mom and babies, since we brought them home Thurs. I have them on that woody-pet stuff that had turned to sawdust when a water bottle leaked into it.
