    is it a good deal?

we have a local breeder who was also at daytona.. he was offering (and no were not in a position to add to the collection) a male and two females to us, they were all three genetic granites, proven according to him.. im not good at spotting morphs but they did have almost cinnomin colored heads. he wanted $500 for all of them. they were pretty big/heavy and said they are ready to be bred again this year.. so thoughts? he also had lots of other morphs but were not looking to add to the family right now

depending on the females size, thats not a bad deal at all. Not many are a fan of granites though, I like them if you put a pastel in the mix

the best fast pics i could find were here

on nerd's 'preview' website. if the snakes look like that, then they could possibly be granites. i do not know the current going price for a genitic granite- but i see normal females at breeding size go for 300$ (from what i've seen) so if he's offering a trio of proven breedable animals for 500$, even if they were normals, i would think they'd go a bit higher (i'm assuming this is a 1.2 trio).

this is me just speculating. he could probably get 300$/female if they were just normals- so the fact these are morphs and he's asking for 500$ for all three seems a tad off to me.
