So much of it.
Water, water and more water!!! It has been flooding here at work. Had forklifts moving equip. in water that went over our knees in a matter of hours. Rained on us most of the time. I finally got out of work at 2:30 am when they brought in a crew to sandbag. We were able to save a lot, but boy were we tired.
Herps swimming and hopping by everywhere. Would have had a great herp hunting day if I could have stopped working to catch them. Oh well, didn't have a camera with me anyway.

Re: So much of it.
i'm about a four and a half hour drive north of chicago and it's been pretty much raining non stop for a couple weeks but nowhere near as hard as you've been hit! but my aunt in winona, mn almost drove straight into a 40ft deep ditch where the road was washed away- sadly, a couple cars did end up down there and one couple died. not very far from me, towns have been completely evacuated and i don't know how many roads have been closed. finally, today we have sun! hopefully you'll get some soon, too!

Wow; I hope that things recede for you soon. I was incredulous to see flooding in Ohio on the news this week! That is uncomfortably close to me.. we already have the blizzards that make roads impassable for months out of the year.
Natural disasters bite. I hope that everyone who is experiencing this flooding can get back to normal soon and them and theirs stay safe.

It just seems the natural disasters keep coming faster and faster. I don't remember near as much bad weather like we've had these last couple of yrs.
At least the water is going down here, but they are predicting more rain.
