That's what I said about NERD. They will unveil a snake but eventually they will tell people what makes it.

It's people like the owner of the crystal who after several years refuses to let people know what the other half of the puzzle is that is needed to make a crystal besides a mojave.

That's not marketing, that is price fixing and attempting to control the market on that certain morph.

you can't blame 'em. think of it this way. You spend YEARS developing a new morph, and you work hard on it. Then when you try to market it, some balding guy finds out what you need to create this morph, breeds and begins selling them at a lower price than you. Soon you lose the revenue for YOUR morph, YOUR hard work, all because this other guy wanted to get some money off of YOUR work.

There are so many morphs that havent been done or gone public...everyone in here could have their own special morph and not tell how to make it. I know I am working on one myself.

I agree that I hate not knowing. But then I like the idea of there still being some surprises still left in the reptile world. I rather enjoy it. Like I'm saving my nickels so when Ralph finally lets some of his phantoms out

NERD and will let people know what makes a new morph they create.

They don't hide anything.

It's people that keep the pieces of the puzzle secret for years and refuse to let anyone know what is going on are the people that really disgust me about the BP market.

no, what really disgusts me is when people (like the ones holding the crystals) that put YEARS into the morph trying to figure out the genetics to the point it becomes a part of you and bam some jerk gets a hold of one and decides to flood the market and drive down prices just to stab you in the back or because 'they're co-doms, they're not rare!'

quite frankly it is their snake, their project, and no one else has the right to tell them what they can and cannot do with it.
