True, it is nice to not know what is on the horizon but after several years with the crystal (he was supposed to unveil the other half in Daytona), that gets a bit frustrating.

Once RDR releases his phantoms and goblins, it's going to be crazy. The supers are phenomenal!

PSSST Goblins are now called Yellow Bellies. But yea the phantoms are killer. Of course with the Crystal Ball is no different that the Phantom its Brian's signature morph. And hes not the only one to produce one I have heard of one other but they agreed not to divulge what it takes now whether that is true is not I don't know but I trust the person that told me

    Re: crystel lesser?

I have produced the original Crystal and a few since including the Paradox Crystal and the Pastel Crystals... Mine are produced from a Mojave as opposed to BHBs which were produced with a Lesser... A few people have seen the "Special" mother, even one of the bigger breeders who I know has shared the pic a few times...
It really is an unimpressive snake that has been posted previously when I used her to produce Pastels... She never recieved any comments and I have kept her basically underwraps since... I have had a friend see her and almost immediately close her drawer dissapointed that there was nothing extraordinary about her... I have in the past decided to keep her private as to learn more about the project. I do have an 06 "Special" female that has a few breeders interested possibly with an 06 "Special Mojave" male... I donot have any idea why she would produce lighter orange Mojaves (Special Mojaves) that would not be Crystals... It wont be until this coming season that I produce snake from my original "Special Mojave" female and from Pastel Crystal to "Special" and "Special Pastel"....
I basically call what I think produces a Crystal a "Special"... I have not produced a "Super Special" as of yet... I call the "Special Mojave" just that since I donot know how they tie in yet. I dont know if "Special Mojaves" have anything to do with or will ever produce a Crystal... This just shows the infancy of this project...
I have sold 2.2 Crystals (0.1 being Paradoxed) this year, along with 0.1 Pastel Crystal and 0.1 "Special Mojave"... People have invested considerable money with me to get into this project and definitely love the snakes, and very possibly like how I have handled the project... I think it would be very un-professional bordering on rude for me to now release the photos since I already have there money!
    SPJ,
I can careless what disgusts you... I have handled this project from the start and tried my very best... You really have no idea what you are talking about. Explain the price-fixing to me again? How did that work??? I will definitely control who my snakes go to and once they produce it is up to them to price and market them however they see fit.

I have but one question for you.

Was is a cop or was it a taxi? ..... buhahahahahahahaha!

Keep on keepin on brother! ... It's YOUR project and you're doing great with it. I'd sell my weak non hanging in six shootin brother for a crystal any day of the week.

    Re: crystel lesser?

Tom, did you produce from Crystal X normal this year and if so did you get any normals or crystals or just a 50/50 split of specials and mojaves?

Jared H. posted pictures of his previously secret mom of the super striped yellow bellies and I still couldn't tell you what they look like. It's kind of sounding like your special female might be the same. Maybe the bellies are less subtle and a consistent way to identify them. Whatever it is, it sure does something interesting with mojave!

Will also be interesting to see what is up with the special mojave. Seems like it couldn't have the special allele but who knows.

    Re: crystel lesser?

Also, have you by chance produced crystals with different not closely related mojaves? I guess what I'm asking is are you sure any mojave x special could produce crystal. I'd expect that to be the case but it would be nice to be able to eliminate the possibility that your original mojave male just happened to be het for some recessive thing that the special female also had. I suppose the lesser crystal would tend to rule that out.

I'm betting the specials are a clear bellied member of the white snake complex toward the normal looking end like phantom. We know it can’t be phantom exactly as phantom + lesser makes white karma. Given that crystal has more pigment than karma maybe the super/homozygous special would have more/different color than the homozygous/super phantom?

Why so much yellow is odd though. Maybe special is not an allele at all and just happens to interact with mojave/lesser like pastel and cinnamon/black pastel interact. The crystal X normal breeding should help figure that out.
