    buying snakes at daytona

Okay, i have got to ask, i've been racking my brains out

how do you purchase one of the more expensive animals at Daytona? I mean.. surely people are not walking around with 1000+$ in cash are they? i'd be worried i'd lose my wallet. Do you just let x person know what you want, and run to the atm? or do you pay x person online for x morph, get there, and just pick out which you want?

Well yes some people do carry large sums of cash (but I agree with you I would worry I would lose it), others do as you say agree to what they want to run to the ATM.

Also, some of the larger breeders will take credit cards now

You can also agree ahead of time and pay via paypal (or something) and then just pick up the animal at the show)

i know a lot of breeders offered to let you pick up there, i just wasn't sure. honestly I'd be the one to carry a large bit of cash, but I'd be afraid someone would see me taking it out and pick my wallet off me or I'd leave it in a bathroom lord knows what.

i was just curious what others did.

i didn't know they have the little.. card machines now, that would be so, so convenient

LOL ... I know of a TON of people that were carrying a ton of cash on them ... one bushy eye'd fella that I know had a wad the size of texas in his pocket ... or maybe he was just glad to see me.

cash is the best way to go unless you happen to know ahead of time who you want to buy from and that they will take a credit card. i don't recommend using the atm for much since the machines at the ocean center only let you take out $100 at a time and charge a $2 fee for each transaction. if you are trying to buy a $1000 snake not only will it take you forever to get the cash, it will cost you $20 in fees!

Photo Vests? I've never heard of those--what are they? Pics?

And I can't imagine carrying around that much cash at a time!!! I'd be so worried about losing it!
