the hide is kinda big & IMO the enclosure is too small. how do you know temps if the gage is coming? those dials really are almost never accurate from what ive heard. otherwise it looks ok, the water bowl (i loved it but cant use it) is large and might affect your humidity, might just havet o wait and see. lovely snake

I have a large bowl because my humitdity didnt exsist before i got it lol.

The hide fits around him very snug, touches all sides of him when hes in it.

I know the temps because i have a few thermometers in there.

And the tanks is small, i had it when i got him [about a foot or two long] He's now a little of 3 feet. And his new tank is coming soon

You should buy one of the digital thermometers they have, most have a humidity gauge built in. The one you read about the most on the forums is Accurite, which you can pick up at WalMart for about $12. The stick on thermometers really aren't that accurate, same for the humidity gauges.

if i was you i'd move up to a 30gal, a 3 foot bp in a 20gal isn't gonna work for too long, also i'd recommend another hide when you get a bigger cage, they love a hide on each temp side, makes for a stress free snake

Yup i have a second one already it just doesnt fit in his 10g

Do the parents length determine how long he'll be? Or is it he'll just grow however long.

He gets a full grown mouse every 7 days

Also is there anything i need to know about quaranting [sp?] I've never done it before so what should i do?
