    Water Bowl

I just got my ball python the other day and he is the first one I've ever had. I set up his home for him with his heat light, shelter, etc... The one question I had is about his water bowl. Should I try to keep it out of the light to keep it cooler or does he not care?

P.S. I fill and clean the bowl every morning and every night so it doesn't get bacteria or anything.

Its placement can help control the humidity but as far as what he will like. As long as it full and fresh and not super hot, Warm want matter it'll be fine.

    welcome to the site!

like the others said, i dont think he'll care, he'll make a mess out of it either way (or atleast that's how my boy does!)

also, since you change it out so thoroughly, i wouldnt think it would ever get 'too hot' if you were worried about that. he'll eventually figure out when its' coldest or warmer depending on his mood of a soak.

I put mine over the water bowl for the humidity I need, along with a wet napkin.
