Most people say they end up being found within ten feet or so of their enclosures so i would start with the tank and move outwards.

Check everywhere - even if you think there is no way they could get in there.

try putting a hide on top of a heatmat in a dark corner of the room - if he eats fine for you try putting an F/t food item in there too (yes you need to change this when it gets whiffy ).

Do a search on the board for escape - there are tons of little tips to try dotted all over and I can't remember them all just now.
