    Bit of a Bad Morning

Well I was switching our sugar gliders from their sleeping pouch (open topped pouch) to a zippered pouch so they could come with me during the day while I ran my errands. Well Opellio went nuts and shot off the cage and went right up a pole and into an exposed part of the ceiling. He was so fast that I couldn't catch him. Now he's in the ceiling and probably won't come out for a while. I have been told by other glider keepers that he will eventually come down but I'm still worried.

Crap; I wish that I had some advice for you. My cat went into our bathroom wall awhile ago, under the bathtub via the linen closet. He would only come out when he was good and ready, after dark. Don't you love the fun that they put us humans through? :/

Re: Bit of a Bad Morning

We have placed treats around the gap in the wall and a small cup of honey on the ledge near the gap. There is apple and banana in the pouch we have dangling from the beam and he is awake and active now. I turned off the lights and I'm hopeful he'll just go into the pouch to eat the banana.

I'm going to go check now. Might have some luck and catch him in the pouch.

My luck tonight is good. Went to check the pouch and Opellio was in the pouch eating the banana and I zipped the pouch really fast before he knew what was going on. He is now safe and sound.
