Leos
I know it is not good to house two BPs together, but can you house 2 Leos together? I have a male, and was wanting a female for him, Just not sure if i have to buy another tank. Advice?
Thanks!!

Re: Leos
With leopard geckos, as long as there aren't multiple males, it isn't a bad idea to house them together. I have a display tank at my house that i have 1.2 adults in and I have never had a problem with any of them. You should def quarantine any new ones before you put them in with existing ones. When you do put them together I would keep an eye on them at first to make sure there is no bullying going on as i have heard of some leos that dont play well with others.

Re: Leos
I would not house an male and female pair that are not ready to breed together.

Re: Leos
well he is ready to breed, and i was thinking that too...i'm going to try and find an adult female at the show, so just incase anything happens they won't get hurt in the process

Re: Leos
something will most definitely happen--the male will copulate with the female and you'll get eggs. that's what happens when you put males and females together whether you want it to or not. you will need to quarantine the female anyhow, so you might as well just keep her separately since she'll have to have her own separate setup during quarantine and for about 6 months or so out of the year to give her a break from breeding and laying.
