    Why I love fed-ex!

Well, I just took into possesion my very first blood python, a dark-headed male sumatran short tail from Jeff Hartwig. He is quite the excited little bugger, and has made every attempt to escape my hands when I took him from his container unlike my ball that just chills. I am looking forward to spending time with him, and getting him acclimated to being held. Guess that's gonna make the "adjusting" week a very long and difficult one for me.

I'mma get a few pics in just a bit when he settles down some. For such a small little bugger he just pee'd EVERYWHERE on my kitchen counter so I got some cleaning to do...

For the time being, here's a link to Jeff's site, and a pic of my little guy! Jeff has been a dream to work with, and down the road when I get another I will return to him! http://www.jeffhartwig.com/07BBBHM8.JPG

ehh, it's all good. I was expecting him to be nastier from what I've read about young bloods. However he only bit when I moved to wash the pee off him. He didn't strike at all, he just opened his mouth and then bit me... as though the back of my hand was a f/t mouse... It was interesting to say the least.

    YUP!

I completely understand having to make the decision. Sure the blacks are AWESOME! But the chromes are sweet too! They appear to have a beautiful maroonish color to them.

I think your thinking of light heads, not chromes!
